In the present case, prayer has been made for payment of arrears of family pension for the period from 25.09.1999 to 31.12.2005 in terms of the order passed by this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 16404 of 2007, which has finally been concluded by the order of the Division Bench in L.P.A. No.1294 of 2013 on 28.01.2015. Learned counsel for the University has fairly submitted that after the order passed by the Division Bench, the University has
Patna High Court CWJC No.5710 of 2015 dt.10-05-2016 2/2 calculated the amount of family pension, which the petitioner is entitled to. The calculation shows that the petitioner is entitled to Rs.9,59,734/- and out of which the petitioner has already been paid an amount of Rs.6,34,491/-.
In view of the admitted fact of entitlement of the petitioner, the respondent-University is directed to make payment of rest amount, which the petitioner is entitled to, within a period of two months from today.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
