ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 11-09-2023 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has stated that the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order of cancellation dated 12.05.2022 (Annexure-3) is pending with the Respondent No. 2 herein. Learned counsel seeks a direction from this Court to direct the Respondent No. 2 to dispose off the appeal filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has stated that he has no objection if such a direction is given to the Respondent No. 2 to dispose off the appeal filed by the petitioner.

3. Having regard to the above made submissions,

Patna High Court CWJC No.7526 of 2023(2) dt.11-09-2023 2/2 without going into the merits and demerits of the case, the Respondent No. 2 is directed to dispose off the PDS Appeal Case No. 95 of 2022 filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period eight weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order.

4. It is needless to mention that before passing any order the petitioner shall be put on notice and given an opportunity of hearing.

Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

5. With the above observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
