The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bhojpur Mahila P.S. Case no.319 of 2016, registered under Sections 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 / 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the joint prayer of the petitioner and O.P. No.2, the matter was referred to Mediation Centre, Patna High Court, Patna for settlement of the dispute between the parties, where the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation. The petitioner and O.P. No.2 entered into an agreement dated 24.08.2017, which is the part of the record, by which they decided to live separately and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4794 of 2017 (7) dt.07-09-2017 2/2 petitioner will pay Rs. 2,00,000/- in the account of O.P. No.2 and he will also return her belongings and both will also withdraw the cases pending in between them.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Ara Bhojpur in connection with Bhojpur Mahila P.S.
