Petitioner is in custody in connection with Forest Case No. 10 of 2019 for the offence under section 33, 41, 42 of the Forest Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

The allegation against this petitioner is that he was involved in smuggling of forest items.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 22.1.2019.

Considering the period of custody, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41972 of 2019(3) dt.20-09-2019 2/2 above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Forest Case No. 10 of 2019.
