The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Chanpatiya P.S. Case No.81 of 2017 registered under Sections 376, 506, 323, 379, 504, 120B and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the nature of allegation made in the complaint, which was referred to the police for investigation by the learned Magistrate in exercise of power conferred under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure pursuant to which the FIR was instituted and the fact that for an offence which was initially committed in 2006, the complaint was filed on 20.02.2017, in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner is directed to be
