JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-01-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Kumarkhand P.S. Case No. 193 of 2014 registered under Sections 302/34 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the fact that the name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation in the statement of several witnesses as would appear from perusal of the impugned order dated 21.11.2015, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57286 of 2015 (2) dt.27-01-2016 In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
