The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Naubatpur P.S. case No. 62 of 2019 registered under Section 385, 353, 379 and other Sections of the IPC.

The informant, who happens to be husband of Mukhiya, alleged that revenue clerks were collecting rent but the petitioners came and demanded extortion stating the facts that he would aware that Bachha Yadav @ Ram Das Rai was killed and threatened the informant and others that they would face the same consequence.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioners had also gone to pay rent of their land but the

No.25864 of 2019(2) dt.22-04-2019 2/2 revenue clerk demanded illegal money for that the petitioners filed petition before the Officer-in-charge but it appears that petitioners have got criminal antecedent and they are accused in a case registered under Section 302 of the IPC. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
