By order dated 14.03.2023, the petitioner alongwith another co-accused was granted anticipatory bail in Criminal Miscellaneous No.27282 of 2022 and another analogous case. Leaned counsel for the petitioner submitted on 14.03.2023 that petitioners are ready to pay Rs.25 lakhs to the informant at the time of furnishing bail bonds before the learned court below. It is submitted that the petitioner has not surrendered before the learned court below. Learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over a Demand Draft of Rs.25 lakhs bearing No. "111030" issued by AXIS BANK LTD to the learned counsel for the informant in Court. Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to maintain the time frame given in the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30314 of 2023(3) dt.12-07-2023 2/2 order dated 14.03.2023 regarding payment of the rest amount. Considering the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, the period of surrender before the learned court below is extended by six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in connection with Civil Line P.S. Case No.454 of 2021, subject to deposit of sum of Rs.2000/- (rupees two thousand) in the Victim Compensation Fund. The order dated 14.03.2023 is modified to the extent as indicated above.
Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
