JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-07-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this writ application is being filed on behalf of the petitioner above named for issuance of a writ or writs, direction or directions, order or orders for appointment to the petitioner as a constable in the Bihar Police Service in light of vacancies, advertised in the year of 2004 as well as direction given by this Hon'ble Court in CWJC No- 126

Patna High Court CWJC No.24672 of 2013(2) dt.06-07-2023 2/2 of 2013 dated 29.04.2013 and its 592 analogous cases."

Considering the fact that the petitioner is claiming appointment on the post of Constable in the Bihar Police Service in light of the advertisement issued in the year 2004 as also the fact that according to the respondents the selection process has already stood over long back, this Court finds that with the efflux of time the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed.
