2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 302/504 of the Indian Penal Code, which was earlier rejected vide order dated 28.8.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 40339 of 2023 with a direction to trial court to expedite and conclude the trial.

4. In compliance of order dated 2.5.2024, a progress report dated 24.05.2024 sent by Addl. Distt. & Sessions JudgeIII, Naugachia, Bhagalpur has been received which suggests that the case is pending for the appearance of all the accused persons and the charge has not been framed up till now.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31068 of 2024(3) dt.05-07-2024 2/2 there is no hope to conclude the trial in near future. He further submits that petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 24.11.2022.

6. There is no new ground to reconsider the bail prayer of the petitioner. Hence, this application stands disposed off.

7. The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months positively, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) sushma/- U
