The petitioner seeks bail in connection with G.O. Case No. 46 of 2020, dated 09.03.2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25958 of 2020(2) dt.13-10-2020 2/2 recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he was wrongly caught by the police while he was coming from his sister's village.

The petitioner is in custody since 09.03.2020 and claims to be a person of clean antecedents.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner, the petitioner above-named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-II-Cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with G.O. Case No. 46 of 2020.

The application stands allowed.
