The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Amarpur P.S.Case No. 542 of 2017 registered under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 103 and 104 of the Indian Trade Mark Act, 1999 and Sections 63 and 65 of the Copy Right Act, 1957.

Considering the recovery of huge quantity of duplicate products from the shop of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, his application for grant of prearrest bail is rejected. In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being
