This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Harnaut P.S. Case No.236 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under sections 363 and 365, 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the deceased was taken away by one Vijay Kumar and the petitioner for eating momos and thereafter the deceased went missing. During investigation, the dead body of the deceased was recovered. During investigation, it has come that one Jitendra Mahto had given a contract to the petitioner and said Vijay Kumar for killing the deceased on payment of Rs.10,000/- each and they took advance of Rs.5,000/- and thereafter the deceased was
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25584 of 2025(3) dt.06-08-2025 2/2 taken away and was brutally murdered by the petitioner and said Vijay Kumar.

The petitioner is in custody since 09.06.2024.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not involved in the crime and he has falsely been implicated in this case only on the basis of self inculpatory statement. 6.
Considering the gravity of offence, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. 7.
The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible.
