JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 25-09-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Jadopur P.S. Case No. 90 of 2020 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 and Amendment Act, 2018.

In this case from the possession of petitioner 1.6 litres of liquor was allegedly seized and from his house it is alleged that 22.4 litres of liquor was also seized.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 18.06.2020.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 18.06.2020 and

No.24853 of 2020(2) dt.25-09-2020 2/2 also the fact that total 24 litres of liquor was seized, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Gopalganj in connection with Jadopur P.S.
