JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 27-06-2023 At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to handover a copy of the writ petition to Shri Binay Kumar Pandey, learned Central Government Counsel, who seeks to appear in the present case.

The same be done during the course of the day. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.a) For issuance of an appropriate writ for direction to respondent authorities to pass a speaking and reasoned order on the passport application of the petitioner in earliest possible

(b) For issuance of an appropriate writ for direction to respondent authorities to issue the passport of the petitioner despite the fact that the petitioner applied for his passport in year 2021. (c) For issuance of an appropriate writ for direction to the respondent authorities to take necessary steps for issuance of passport to the petitioner immediately because petitioner wants to take admission in MBBS course in Bangladesh." Considering the nature of relief, prayed for in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Passport Officer, Regional Officer, Maurya Lok Complex, Patna, Bihar to dispose off the application of the petitioner, filed for issuance of passport, in case the same has not already been disposed off, within a period of six weeks from today. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
