The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this writ application on behalf of the petitioner aforesaid is directed for issuance of appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) preferably in the nature of mandamus for commanding the respondents to remove the encroachment from the public land pertaining to Khata No. 96 Plot No. 959 area 14 decimal situated in Mauza Dariapur under Danapur, Circle District- Patna." 2.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the Circle Officer, Danapur, Patna to dispose of the pending Encroachment Case No.04 of 2022-23, expeditiously. It is directed accordingly.

It is needless to state that in case the aforesaid encroachment proceedings are still pending, the Circle Officer, Danapur, Patna shall conclude the same, by passing the final order under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, in accordance with law and after hearing the affected parties, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

As far as the remaining grievances of the petitioner are concerned, he shall seek redressal of the same, by approaching the Sub-divisional Officer, Danapur, Patna. 5.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
