The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sherghatti P.S. Case No. 37 of 2019 registered under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act, 2016 pending in the Court of Special Judge, Excise, Gaya. Submission is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the alleged recovery has been made on the basis of suspicion. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that it transpired from the Seizure List that the alleged country liquor has been recovered from the house of the petitioner.
