The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Bodh Gaya P.S. Case No.300 of 2017 registered under Sections 341, 323, 353, 356, 379 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act.

Regard being had to the allegation that in course of inspection in the house of Ashok Kumar, Ambika Kumar Singh and Rajendra Ram, the raiding party found that theft of electricity was being committed and in course of investigation it transpired that it was the petitioner, who had taken electric connection in the name of Rajendra Ram as also the allegation that the accused

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41464 of 2017 (2) dt.19-09-2017 2/2 persons attacked the raiding team and snatched the Nicon Camera through which the entire occurrence was recorded by the raiding team, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
