2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Jankinagar P.S. Case No. 15/2025 dated 10.01.2025 registered for the offence punishable u/s 8(c), 21(b), 25 and 29 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, three persons riding on a motorcycle were stopped and on search, total 18.65 grams smack like substance, Rs. 25,500/- and a mobile phone were recovered from the co-accused, Mithun Kumar. One mobile phone and Rs. 3,000/- was recovered from the co-accused, Sudhanshu Kumar and one mobile phone was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The seized contraband is less than commercial quantity. The other co-accused persons have already been granted bail by the Co-ordinate Bench vide order dated 06.05.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 27108/2025. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged recovery. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 11.01.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Purnea in connection with Jankinagar P.S. Case No. 15/2025.

7. The application stands allowed.
