JUSTICE MIHIR KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 08-07-2015 Pursuant to an earlier order of this Court dated 6.7.2015, Mr. Sachchidanand Jha, Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Purnea has appeared in person and has filed show-cause reply accepting the fault on the part of his office and himself in issuing the termination letter of the mother of the petitioner, who had already died way back and whose services were also protected by an order of Division Bench of this Court. Mr. J.P. Karn, learned senior counsel, appearing on behalf of Civil Surgeon, Purnea has also submitted that the entire payment of arrear and current salary of the petitioner has been made in view of clarification to the query of the Treasury Officer. This factual position is also not being controverted by
Patna High Court MJC No.2338 of 2014 (3) dt.08-07-2015 the learned counsel for the petitioner.
That being so, this Court would now close the contempt proceeding but, only after recording a severe warning against Dr. Sachchidanand Jha, Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Purnea that in future he must remain vigilant and careful in implementing the order of this Court and should never become party in creating obstacle in implementation of the order of this Court.
With the aforementioned observation, this contempt application is disposed of.
The personal appearance of Dr. Sachchidanand Jha, Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Purnea is also dispensed with.
