JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 08-08-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.That this present Writ Application is being filed for direction to the respondent authorities to not pay the retirement benefits including pension to Manju Devi (Respondent No.11) because she is not a legally wedded wife of the Late Bukhit Das.

Patna High Court CWJC No.17834 of 2014(2) dt.08-08-2024 2/2 AND For further direction to the respondent authorities to pay the retirement benefit to the legal heirs of the Late Dukhit Das and if they found that Manju Devi (Respondent No.11) is trying to obtain entire retirement benefits of the Late Dukhit Das on the basis of fabricated document then lodge the Criminal Case against Manju Devi (Respondent No. 11)."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed.
