09-12-2021 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner seeks bail in Sherghati (Dobhi) P.S. Case No. 465 of 2020, registered for the offence under Section 302 / 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the F.I.R., all the F.I.R. named accused persons, including this petitioner, set ablaze the sister of the informant by sprinkling kerosene oil on her body. Petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation. It is admitted fact that the deceased was living separately with her husband in a rented house. The husband of the deceased is already in custody. Petitioner is in custody since 19.12.2020.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.
