Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the stand taken by the State-respondents in the supplementary counter-affidavit suggests that the State Government has sent letters to both the petitioners vide letter nos. 1868 and 1869 dated 09.08.2024 to submit their consent before the R.W.D., Jehanabad for receiving the compensation amount in lieu of the perpetual lease of their land.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in

Patna High Court CWJC No.10051 of 2020(7) dt.02-09-2024 2/2 view of the stand taken by the State-respondents, petitioners will file their consents within a period of two weeks. 4.

Concerned respondent is directed to dispose of the case of the petitioners and pay the compensation amount within a period of eight weeks after hearing the petitioners. 5.

Accordingly, with the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
