This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 341, 323, 324, 379, 427, 504, 506 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he caused injury with a sharp cutting weapon on the head of the informant. The doctor had found lacerated would on the parietal area, simple in nature.

Submission of the petitioner is that the medical report is inconsistent with the statement of the informant and there is no allegation of repetition of blow.

Considering the fact that the petitioner had knowledge that his act might cause death, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
