JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 08-01-2020 Even though the petitioner has been selected for being granted license under the PDS scheme but till date, no license has been granted to him. Nothing but apathy to the public cause can be attributed to such an approach of the respondents. The representation of the petitioner before the District Magistrate-cum-Chairman, District Selection Committee, Kaimur, Bhabua has also gone unheeded.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8116 of 2019(2) dt.08-01-2020 2/2 Under the aforesaid circumstance, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the District Magistrate-cumChairman, District Selection Committee, Kaimur, Bhabua (respondent No. 2), intimating him that the petitioner has been selected to be made a licensee and that he ought to be given license and supply of the essential commodities be resumed forthwith. The respondent No. 2 shall pass necessary orders in accordance with law within six weeks of the receipt/production of a copy of this order, if the claim of the petitioner is found to be correct.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
