1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari to quash the advertisement inviting applications for the appointment on the post of Assistant Accountant in Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited and after such quashing for a direction to the respondents to appoint/regularize/ absorb the petitioners on the said post of Assistant Accountant and only thereafter to appoint the outsiders on the remaining post vacant after the appointments/regularization/absorption of the petitioners."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
