Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi) P.S. Case No. 248 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 06.03.2023 and there is recovery of 566.25 litres of illicit liquor from his possession and he has clean criminal antecedent.

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the period of custody and recovery of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27796 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completing six months of custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 2, Gaya in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi) P.S. Case No. 248 of 2023.
