The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 49 of 2016 registered under Section 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that petitioners, who happen to be father-inlaw, mother-in-law, nanad and devar, have falsely been implicated

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2254 of 2017 (2) dt.28-01-2017 2/2 in this case. There is no specific allegation of assault against the petitioners.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the C.J.M., Begusarai, Dist. Begusarai in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 49 of 2016, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C. (Arvind Srivastava, J) Shail/- U T
