The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bhargama P.S. Case No.196 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 393 and 398 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner along with other co-accused persons are said to have looted away cash and mobile of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application. It is further submitted that one co-accused person was apprehended at the spot and he disclosed the name of the

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
