Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jandaha P.S. Case No. 65 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), 32(i), 36(i), 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 01.03.2023 and there is recovery of 1918.080 litres of liquor from his possession and he has one criminal antecedent.

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the period of custody and recovery of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28043 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Court No. 1-cum-Additional District & Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Jandaha P.S. Case No. 65 of 2023.
