JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 13-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. (i) For issuance of an order, direction or a writ of Certiorari for quashing the result contained in memo dated 23.08.2021 issued by the Bihar Vidhan Parishad, whereby and whereunder candidates have declared successful against the Advertisement No.

07/2019 published for appointment against 96 vacancies of Office Attendant in cadre of Messenger and the petitioner has been excluded despite he had answered to 20 questions correctly.

(ii) For issuance of an order, direction or a writ of Mandamus for directing upon the respondents to appoint the petitioner to the post of Office Attendant in pursuant to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.7486 of 2022(2) dt.13-02-2024 2/2 Advertisement No. 07/2019 whereby and whereunder the respondents had followed policy of pick and choose, selecting only candidates of their choice as the petitioner claiming that he cleared interview successfully scheduled on 21.12.2020 to 29.01.2021 and he had given answer to 20 questions correctly and he is awarded only 27 marks.

(iii) For issuance of an order, direction or an appropriate writ to consider the petitioner for the appointment to the post of Office Attendant. Since, non inclusion of the petitioner from the selected list is a result of mala fide and arbitrary action of the respondents."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
