====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ARVIND SINGH CHANDEL ORAL ORDER 06-05-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the counsel appearing for the respondent-State.

2. It is the first regular bail application submitted by the petitioner who has been arrested in connection with Khusharupur P.S. Case No. 185 of 2019 for the alleged offences punishable under Section 341, 323, 504, 506, 498(A)/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. In this case there are three accused persons, present applicant is the husband of the informant Sulekha Devi, their marriage was solemnized 8-9 years prior to the lodging of the FIR. It is alleged that after the marriage, present applicant along with other co-accused persons i.e. in-laws of the informant treated the informant with cruelty on account of demand of dowry. It is

On the basis of information given by her offences has been registered and during the course of investigation, the present applicant got arrested on 19.12.2024.

4. It is submitted by the counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner herein is innocent and is falsely implicated in this case due to some dispute with his wife. He further submits that the other co-accused persons who are the in-laws of the informant had already been granted bail and the charge-sheet has already been submitted. The present applicant is in custody since 19.12.2024, trial will take much time, therefore, it is prayed by the counsel that he may be granted benefit of bail.

5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondentState opposes the prayer of bail.

6. Considering the submission made by the counsels and further considering that other co-accused persons had already been granted benefit of bail and the applicant is in custody since 19.12.2024. I am of the view that the present applicant should be granted the benefit of bail. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Khusharupur P.S. Case No. 185 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties, to the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial
