JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 17-03-2015 It is the contention of the petitioner that he has filed the application for transfer of the arms licence standing in the name of his father who happens to be a retired Judge of this Court. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that although an application in this regard was filed in January, 2008 under the Arms Act, 1959 and the rules framed thereunder but the same has remained pending with the Licensing Authority-cumDistrict Magistrate, Patna. Having heard learned counsel or the parties and taking note of the nature of grievance, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the District Magistrate, Patna-cum-Licensing
