1. The learned counsel for the respondent-State seeks to file a counter affidavit, which is taken on record.

2. The prayer, made by the petitioner, in the present case is to direct the respondents to revise and fix the salary of the petitioner in the Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-, in place of Rs.2400/- with effect from 01.01.2009.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent-State has referred to Annexure-A to the counter affidavit, which is an order dated 04.09.2021, issued by the Principal, Revenue (Survey) Training Institute, Bodhgaya-cum-Additional Collector, Gaya, whereby and whereunder the Grade Pay of the petitioner has

Patna High Court CWJC No.11869 of 2021(2) dt.07-12-2023 2/2 already stood revised to Rs.2800/- with effect from 01.01.2009, hence it is submitted that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition, however, with a direction to the respondents, more particularly, the respondents no.4 to 6 to make payment of the differential amount of salary, on account of the aforesaid revision in the Grade Pay, within a period of four weeks from today.
