2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Samastipur P.S. Case No. 576 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 395/397 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Jewellery worth rupees one crore was looted in a dacoity committed in broad day light. The name of the petitioner transpired during the course of investigation. The petitioner has criminal antecedents also. The petitioner is in jail since 25.12.2023.
