The petitioner is in custody in connection with Patepur P.S. Case No. 178 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 395, 397 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Referring to the prosecution case, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case was registered against 8-10 unknown motorcycle riders.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 20.12.2018. He further submits that nothing incriminating was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
