2. This writ application has been filed for directing the respondents to make payment of compensation for the acquired land according to the new Land Acquisition Act, 2013, which is applicable in case of acquired land of the petitioner.

3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that he has already filed an application, after receiving the notice, before the Collector, as per new Land Acquisition Act, 2013, vide Annexure - 2 to the writ application.

4. In view of nature of prayer made on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.990 of 2016(2) dt.10-10-2023 2/2 petitioner as also the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ application is disposed of with direction to the concerned respondent i.e. respondent no. 5 to dispose of the application of the petitioner, which is pending before him, after hearing the parties in accordance with law.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
