2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 232 of 2023 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 325, 326, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner is said to have bitten on the informant's ear.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The only allegation against the petitioner is that he bitten on the informant's ear and from perusal of the Injury report, the doctor opined that the informant sustained injury on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31099 of 2024(2) dt.24-04-2024 2/2 non-vital part and the same is simple in nature. Charge-sheet has been submitted in this case. The petitioner is in custody since 21.01.2024 and has one criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of injury as well as the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 232 of 2023.
