In this case, the petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Chakai P.S. Case No.159 of 2016 (G.R. No.1822 of 2016), registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 353, 283, 290 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that the people of the locality created jam in the road, the police personnel tried to pacify the mob, but the situation remained the same. Later on, the mob came to the office of the Circle Officer and created hindrance.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40460 of 2017 (2) dt.19-09-2017 2/2 let the above-named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M. 2nd, Jamui, in connection with Chakai P.S. Case No.159 of 2016 (G.R. No.1822 of 2016), subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
