The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 416 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 12.02.2023 and there is recovery of 745.5 litres of illicit liquor from his possession and he has one criminal antecedent.

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.
