The petitioner presented this writ petition to quash the order, as contained in Memo no. 20 dated 20.02.2008 issued by Child Development Project Officer, Ramgarh Chowk, District - Lakhisarai. The appointment of Aangan Bari Sewika is an agent to the Government to distribute the foodgrains among the child and others to prevent malnutrition under the scheme "Take Home Ration". The relationship between the Aangan Bari Sewika and the Government is of the principal and the agent. Aangan Bari Sewika is not deemed to be a government servant. From the order impugned, it appears that several irregularities were found, on such, not only the petitioner, but
Patna High Court CWJC No.14108 of 2008 dt.20-01-2017 2/2 many other Aangan Bari Sewikas were dispensed from the service and the centre was closed.
Considering the facts aforesaid, I do not find any merit in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) Vinita/- U
