Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 23 of 2017 (240 of 2017) of Sohail P.S. Case No. 07 of 2016 lodged under Sections 302 and 34 of the I.P.C. The bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 04.04.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 10555 of 2017. By virtue of report dated 18.12.2021, it transpires that there are 6 witnesses examined out of 10 charge sheet witnesses but from report dated 08.07.2022, it transpires

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38137 of 2021(5) dt.26-09-2022 2/2 that the case fixed on argument and next date fixed on 16.07.2022.

In this background I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The Trial Court is hereby directed to conclude the trial within 2 months from today.

With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.
