That this is an application praying for issuance of appropriate writ/writs directing the respondents and other concerned authorities to award just and suitable compensation to the petitioner for the damage suffered on account of user of his lands (situated at villageJagannathpur Dokra, P.S.-Saraiya, DistrictMuzaffarpur) as well as for removal of trees standing on them for erection of 800 K.V. Bipole

Patna High Court CWJC No.18900 of 2014(2) dt.15-05-2024 2/2 HVDC line and transmission of electricity by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Respondent No. 1). About 2.5 acres (two and half acres) of the petitioner's land recorded in revenue records of Village-Jagannathpur Dokra, P.S.-Saraiya, District- Muzaffarpur in Khata No. 12 and Khesra No. 1028 & 1029 are being rendered absolutely useless due to erection of the said transmission lines."

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present writ petition, to which the learned counsel appearing for the State has got no objection.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
