This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Karja P.S. Case No. 181 of 2004 (G.R.No.2514 of 2004), disclosing the offence under Section 3⁄4 of the Explosive Substance Act.
It is evident from the FIR that after 14 years of registration of the FIR, the petitioner started taking steps for grant of anticipatory bail. He has been declared absconder and processes have been issued under Sections 82 and 83 of the Cr. P.C. In such circumstances, this application for anticipatory bail cannot be maintained. It is accordingly dismissed. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) HR/- U T
