AC to AAG-3 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 16-04-2019 The present writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to take appropriate action on the application of Arms license.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application was submitted by the petitioner way back on 16.11.2018 before the licensing authority for grant of Arms license but till date no decision have been taken by the licensing authorities.

On the request of the petitioner for grant of Arms license under the Act, the authorities have to take appropriate decision within time frame. Since, five months have already elapsed no decision have been taken by the respondents one way

Patna High Court CWJC No.7968 of 2019(2) dt.16-04-2019 2/2 of the other, the Court directs the Collector, Patna to take appropriate decision on the application for grant of Arms license of the petitioner one way or the other within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.
