2. This application is for grant of regular bail arises out of Kargahar P.S. Case No.216 of 2024, registered for the offences under Sections 103(1), 80(2) and 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per the F.I.R., petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased. The petitioner was tortured for dowry and has been killed.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 07.09.2024 and she claims clean antecedent.

5. During the course of argument, it has been admitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the husband of the deceased was staying outside. It appears that the deceased

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26852 of 2025(2) dt.05-05-2025 2/2 was tortured by the petitioner i.e. the mother-in-law and was killed after two years of marriage.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application stands rejected.

8. The petitioner may renew her prayer for bail if the trial is delayed by the prosecution.
