The writ application is filed with a grievance that the house of the petitioner was taken on rent by the respondents but the rent thereof was not paid since 15.04.2007. In the counter affidavit filed on behalf of Respondent No. 4 it has been stated vide paragraph 4 that the outstanding dues on account of arrears of rent has been cleared and credited in the account of the petitioner vide Cheque No. 623497 dated 30.12.2015. Petitioner has acknowledged the receipt

Considering the above, in my view, the writ application has now become infructuous, which is accordingly, disposed of as such.
