2. Mr. Jitendra Prasad Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during pendency of this case Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) has given the compensation to the petitioner for acquisition of his land but the petitioner is aggrieved by the quantum of the compensation.

3. Mr. Uday Bhan Singh, learned counsel appearing for the GAIL referring to Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 submits that as per Section 10 of the Act, the petitioner may raise his grievance

Patna High Court CWJC No.1555 of 2018(3) dt.31-01-2023 2/2 before the District Judge having jurisdiction in the local area.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this application with liberty to raise his grievance before the District Judge, Gaya in accordance with law.

5. Permission is granted.

6. This writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
