The petitioner is an accused in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 467 of 2019 registered for the offences under sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 18.11.2019 by the informant, Manoj Rai.

As per the prosecution story, the lady was married to the petitioner but always tortured for dowry. On 15.10.2019, the in-laws informed the parents to take her away as she is ill. When they reached the place, she was in unconscious condition and was murmuring to leave her and not to assault. The parents immediately took her to the Patna Medical College Hospital but she breathe her last on 17.10.2019. Accordingly, the FIR.
