In this case the petitioner apprehends his arrest in Uphara P.S. Case No. 26/2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 341, 307, 326, 323, 324, 506, 147, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Allegation against the petitioner is that he assaulted the informant and his brother with knife causing injury. The brother of the informant died in the way of hospital.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
